Mastiksoul has turned to Vicoustic to fine tune the acoustics of his production studio. The dj and producer is renowned for his vision and percussive/tribal style, reflecting both his African roots and influences from a range of musical styles and cultures.
Mastiksoul’s career took off during the 1990s with the release of his first 12-inch and opportunities to develop his dj and producer skills. During the early 2000s, he built his production studio in London and materialized two major projects; 4Kenzo Recordings and Digital Distribution with dj Token Pace. At the same time MastikSoul began to be in demand as a dj in some of Europe’s leading clubs such as the Rex (Paris), Ultimate Base (London), Gas (London), The Cross (London), Locomia (Albufeira), Kremlin (Lisbon), Alcantara Club (Lisbon), and Decadance (Belgium) among others.

In 2003 Mastiksoul set up a new label, Moxi Records, with fellow tribal guru Tony Thomas. This quickly gained international recognition through the support of djs such as Carl Cox and Tennaglia.

2005 saw Mastiksoul releases on labels including Wiggle (UK), Household Recordings (US), Uppercutz (US), Warbled (US), Is This (UK), Territory (US), 4Kenzo (UK), Hoshi (Spain) and Yoda (US). He also toured extensively in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Bulgaria, Portugal and the USA. By the following year, Mastiksoul had become one of the leading house producers, adding studio collaborations with dj Sneak and Renato Cohen to a rapidly expanding portfolio.

In recent years, Mastiksoul has focused on his own labels including setting up Kitsam, a digital label exclusive to Beatport, featuring djs such as Danny Tennaglia, dj Vibe and Saeed Younan. Currently one of the top sellers on both Beatport and Dancefuel dj, Mastiksoul has enjoyed critical acclaim from both leading house music names and the UK dance press including Mixmag, Jockey Slut and Dj Magazine.

2010 sees Mastiksoul out on tour at some of Europe’s leading club venues.
